BulletAds is a medium sized affiliate network specializing is in CPA (Cost Per Action) affiliate programs, although they do offer a handful of pay per click programs. The majority of their programs are lead driven, with many programs only requiring either an e-mail address or a zip code to be considered a valid lead. This is not an affiliate network like Commission Junction who specializes in programs that come from retailers or e-commerce stores; most of the programs on BulletAds are not selling a tangible ‘thing’ rather they are strictly trying to obtain a lead, subscription, or other information. Currently their ad inventory includes 220 different programs (although many of the individual programs are similar to other programs within the network). BulletAds is operated by Web Geek Solutions and has been in the affiliate business for over 6 years.
BulletAds is committed to the success of their affiliates, and offers a host of their affiliate managers to affiliates in order to help them select the best programs and creatives for their web sites.
The commissions for individual programs seem to be in line with industry standards for similar types of programs. For each program, they offer a variety of text ads, banner ads, and e-mail creatives for you to choose from. One nice feature is that they publish cross-network statistics for earnings per click and conversion rates, helping you to choose the offers that convert the best. Their website’s interface is relatively easy to understand and navigate.
The statistics they offer are pretty standard (impressions, clicks, leads) and are presented in an easy, straightforward manner. One feature that seems to be missing is the capability to download in CSV (comma separated values) format your sale and lead information. Many of the programs offer real-time lead statistics, while others are processed in batches.
In order to become an affiliate for BulletAds, your web site must be written in English and receive over 3,000 monthly unique visitors.
One thing unique about BulletAds is that they offer affiliates a reward system for earnings each month. They allow you to choose from a list of prizes (or the cash equivalent) for various tiers of monthly earnings. The breakdown is the following:
Commissions $500+ – You get $20
Commissions $1000+ – You get $45
Commissions $2000+ – You get $100
Commissions $3000+ – You get $150
On the downside, BulletAds sets the monthly payment threshold at $100, meaning that any amounts earned that equal less than $100 get rolled over to the next month’s commission check.
